Thus, detailed understanding of its components, processes and outcomes are fundamental to the success of any public health program either at a community level, district level, state level, national level or the international level.

AIHMS highly specialized PGDPH with specialization in Health systems strengthening aims to build capacity and capability of entry level or mid level public health professional from diversified backgrounds including medicine, dentistry, nursing, physiotherapy, allied health sciences, paramedics, management, economics, social work etc. in addressing the specific public health needs around a particular problem. The programs aims to build knowledge base and skills sets of such professionals in key subject areas, health economics and management so that they can understand the key nuances of specific public health problems and are capable of resolving the critical issues.

The students will be subjected to hands on practical training in live projects and encouraged to present their findings among their co-workers, professors, subject matter experts and academia.
